Visiting the Temecula Wineries

The Temecula winery is located 60 miles north of San Diego and 90 miles southeast of Los Angeles, making it the perfect day trip for those living in Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego, or Palm Springs. Nestled among rolling hills, the Temecula wineries offer 20 different premium wineries.

Temecula valley wineries encompasses 3,000 acres of vineyards and is located 1,400 to 1,600 feet above sea level. The unique micro-climate created in this area by the cool ocean breezes and the dry, warm climate, combined with the cool summer nights, has created the best growing conditions for California wine.

There are a multitude of tours presented each day at the Temecula winery. The Grapeline 'Cabernet Tour' is a popular choice that provides guests with a gourmet picnic within the beautiful winery garden. This tour takes place in a deluxe shuttle coach and contains a professionally created itinerary. The shuttle can be boarded at a multitude of hotels and other depot locations.
